# XB Bonus Campaign

XB Bonus Campaign is an initiative focused around rewarding early supporters of the XB3 protocol who chose to lockup their tokens for the full term, within the first 60 days of launch.\

**These users earn:**

* Maximum boost for the full 2 year campaign 
* Non-degradative boost for the full 2 year campaign, and
* Their proportional share of 5,000 XB3 Bonus tokens

## Bonus Campaign <a href="#bonus-lockup-period-closed" id="bonus-lockup-period-closed"></a>

Users who chose to lockup their XB3 for the full term within the first 60 days of launch (**ending on Friday, 30th of December 2022**), are eligible for their proportional share of 5000 BONUS XB3 minted after 18 months, and distributed over a period of 6 months.&#x20;

These users will earn protocol & product revenue at **maximum boost**, and their boost will NOT degrade as the lockup period approaches, over and above the bonus campaign.&#x20;

**Any lock that is made for less than full term (or outside of the 60 days) will have their boost degrade as the lockup period expires, and will not earn their proportional share of 5,000 bonus XB3**

## Process: <a href="#process" id="process"></a>

**Day 0 - 60**: *Bonus Campaign Lockup period opens* - Users who locked their XB3 for the maximum term (100 weeks) will be eligible for their proportional share of the bonus campaign rewards AND they will be at maximum boost on their rewards which will **NOT** decrease as the unlock date approaches.&#x20;

**Day 61 +**: *Bonus Campaign Lockup period closes* - Users are able to lockup for the full term to get maximum boost on their rewards. This boost **WILL** decrease as the unlock date approaches and these users' will not be eligible for the 5000 XB3 Bonus Campaign rewards.

## **​Migration**

Users who were previously a part of the XBE Bonus Campaign (prior to the token migration) will have their exact same amount of tokens locked for full term, therefore qualifying them for the XB3 Bonus Campaign. These users will have slightly more veXB3 than they did veXBE.

**ELI5:** The XB Bonus Campaign is a mechanism to incentivize long term lockup of XB3 for early supporters of the protocol. The locker contract requires holders of XB3 to lockup their tokens for the full 100 weeks within the first 60 days of the contract going live.
